1). Light presentation and concealment
This is ontology, which is related to the nature of reality and embodies the indivisibility of matter and time and space at this time. But the performance of light on the living body is like a journey of time and space, not bound by this material.
There are two types of lighting devices: dominant and recessive. Night lights outline the shape and level of the trees, giving them vitality and agility, a sight that only exists in our minds. The recessive light source makes the object glow, as if they were illuminators themselves, thus giving birth to a nighttime design project in 1994, the mobile car lighting device, which can adjust the beam width and reflect light to maintain the necessary Bright and dark contrast.
This light technique enhances the expressive power of light: it avoids direct light damage to the eyes, bright but not abrupt. Nighttime is the best way to account for the duality of light. As if losing the sense of time and space, the original magic of light is to attract people’s attention to the object rather than to its own attention. Buildings, materials, and colors change with light, just like their own vitality.
You don’t think about the concept of space and time when you enjoy the light, some turn a blind eye, bathe it without dazzling. This is not completely hidden, and a piece of darkness does not exist at all. To be more precise, this is an invisible existence, like the rising sun, which reflects the sky before it rises. The hidden nature is the representation of separation, and the presentation of light gives life to all things.
2). Use only light when needed
Light seems to be a chemical reaction: only the right, precise dose can create magic. There is no need for multiple light sources in the room, and a light is sufficient for visual and emotional needs. This reminds me of the theater’s spotlights, where the audience follows them to cast their sights somewhere and mobilize all sensory experiences there. This kind of light has a dramatic effect and is one of the functions of light —— stage lighting.
Those pleasant behaviors, cherished objects and useful things need only one light source: a light on the top of the table, only half of the brightness around the wall; painting on the wall; small candlesticks on the corner of the temple, these It is a case of precise use of light, light, the only light that appears where it is needed.
3). Light thickness
If the light has a mass, it has a thickness. If the light casts a shadow, it has a mass. The shadow is born from light, thus forming a sense of space. Light invades space in different ways, shaping different spatial traits; we often use light to create spaces precisely: such as porches, colonnades, and verandas.
The shadows on the front of the building cover the colonnade during the day and can only be seen when the lights are lit at night, so the light helps people discover and appreciate the building itself. Light is actually a material, and we should use light like other materials. It has mass, weight and thickness, a thickness that cannot be directly perceived.
The thickness of the light can only be reflected by the depth of the object being illuminated. . This is a more expressive thickness, deep and hard to ponder, tangible and fuzzy, more powerful than plain lighting. In my work, I fixed the lighting fixtures in the ceiling and wall holes, both invisible and playing the basic lighting function.
I made the thickness of the light. The light falls through the semicircular dome on the ground of the church and has an indeterminate thickness; the light on the pages of the book we read has a very small thickness. Light makes the space consistent and with some mystery.
4). Light source determines color
The world is ever-changing, and nothing can keep the same color throughout the day. Clouds and the sun, winter and summer, shops and streets, all things bring us different color visions as the environment changes.
We use this inconsistency as a design inspiration and method to consciously express this magical power; even when designing artificial light, it ensures color change. Light of different brightness produces a subtle difference, and the intensity of the light changes or weakens the color of the photoreceptor. The light projected by the device also changes the color of the object. Whether it is a warm day or a cold night, the color is determined by the light source.
The color that all things have in daylight returns to the darkness as the light disappears. The darkness takes away all the colors; because the color itself is visible light, the night makes the object fade. All said that light gives its own color to everything.
5). Holly joy
In the space surrounded by the subtle light, I feel all kinds of pleasant emotions, and through the eyes, I will feel some joy. This is the joy from the ignorance. Subtle light gives more meaning to things, and it morphs into an invisible magic.
People realize these emotions through the unconscious power of light. Nothing represents space, light injects and enhances space, and the naked surface is suddenly covered with light, and some emotions arise from the air. A piece of art (such as the work of the artist francesco foschini “The Miracle of Cherry created by the Saint Nevol”) can convey and evoke certain emotions, and the light of wisdom created by the lighting designer quietly deepens these emotional experiences. The design that evenly illuminates a painting is not desirable; the key to lighting is to set off the background and attract the attention of the viewer.
In addition to letting the audience see the contents of the painting, the ingenious lighting can also gain a deeper aesthetic. You can highlight some places with highlights while hiding the magic. A gesture, a beam of light is enough to express your mind. It comes from nothing but reality.
